The Bedford Public Library
The meeting rooms of the Bedford Public Library are available to educational, cultural and civic groups in Bedford or substantially serving Bedford. Organizations and individuals agreeing to the terms outlined in the room use policy are welcome to meet in a room free of charge whenever it is not being used for library programs or by library organizations. Applications will be accepted in order of receipt. Library programs will have priority. Applications must be made to the library director by an adult resident in writing using this form. (Form in Word format.)
Meetings with 50 or more people in attendance require one Crowd Control Manager per the NH State Fire Code. The Town of Bedford has approved an on-line Crowd Manager training program provided by the State of Maryland Fire Marshals's Office. This training is available at http://www.firemarshal.state.md.us/crowdmanager/. A certificate can be printed upon successful completion of the training. A copy of this certificate must accompany any meeting room requests for meetings with 50 or more people.
Please refer to the library's policies on Unattended Children and Rules of Behavior.
