Aksara - Female a cappella The Friends will have a brief annual meeting immediately after the concert. Please consider staying to learn more about the Friends and to get involved with this wonderful group! AKSARA, a 6 woman a cappella ensemble from Southern NH, has performed in many local venues over the last 15 years, including concerts, benefits and hospice services of remembrance, and has produced 5 recordings. AKSARA performs a variety of selections in many styles that are compelling, renewing and healing. The group is part of Inner Harmony Music, a non-profit organization which has as its mission “to provide musical experiences which inspire participants to discover the healing power of sound in their own lives.” For more information, visit their Web site. |
